An Orangeville, Ont. resident is facing an impaired driving charge after being pulled over for a Highway Traffic Act violation on Boundary Road West in Pembroke.
The incident occurred on Oct. 30 around 1 a.m. As part of the investigation a roadside-screening device was utilized and the driver was transported to a police detachment for further testing.
Brayden Hague, 25, has been charged with operation while impaired, operation while impaired with a blood alcohol level over 80 mg, driving a vehicle with cannabis readily available and driving a motor vehicle without a proper rear light.
The accused had their driver’s licence suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was towed and impounded for seven days.
The accused was released to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on Dec. 20.
