The company, a division of Tilray Brands, has entered into a joint venture with Top Tech Global Inc., forming Solana Life Group. The partnership has secured a license from Panama’s National Directorate of Pharmacy and Drugs that authorizes cultivation, manufacturing, import, export, distribution, and sales of medical cannabis. Tilray says the move combines its global track record with Top Tech’s local expertise in healthcare distribution, which dates back to 2014. The partnership is designed to increase patient access to medical marijuana products across Panama while supporting the country’s medical community through education and reliable supply chains.

The company intends to offer a broad range of cannabinoid-based therapies tailored to patient needs, while working closely with healthcare professionals, regulators, and advocacy groups. Tilray emphasized that the expansion underscores its global mission of delivering safe, high-quality cannabis medicines while reinforcing patient-focused care.

Tilray Medical already operates in more than 20 countries, with a portfolio that includes Tilray Craft, Broken Coast, Redecan, Good Supply, and Navcora. The company was one of the first licensed medical cannabis producers in Canada and has since established GMP-certified facilities in Portugal and Germany, becoming a major supplier of medical cannabis worldwide.

This latest expansion marks Tilray’s entry into another Latin American market, furthering its goal of being a leading global provider of medical cannabis.
