The month’s total included $8.73 million in adult-use purchases and $1.08 million in medical sales, according to data released today by the state’s Cannabis Control Commission. With November now accounted for, Rhode Island has generated roughly $109.6 million in marijuana sales through the first eleven months of 2025. Adult-use sales made up the clear majority throughout the year, consistently landing between $8 million and $9 million monthly. Medical marijuana sales, while far smaller, remained steady enough to contribute between $1.4 million and $1.7 million for much of the year before tapering this fall.
Monthly totals in 2025 have stayed tightly grouped, ranging from a low of $8.98 million in February to a high of $10.71 million in August. October also delivered a strong showing with $10.38 million in sales. November’s slight dip follows a typical seasonal pattern while still highlighting the stability of the market.
When compared to the same period in 2024, Rhode Island’s 2025 sales are tracking slightly higher overall. In 2024, there was $107.4 million in sales between January and November, compared to the $109.6 million recorded so far in 2025.
The state’s product mix in 2025 continues to be driven by pre-packaged flower, which topped $46.66 million year to date. Raw pre-rolls accounted for $22.04 million, vape cartridges reached $18.29 million, and edibles generated $12.84 million. Concentrates, infused pre-rolls, tinctures, topicals, and smaller specialty categories made up the remainder.
With a single month left, Rhode Island is on pace to close 2025 at or slightly above $120 million in legal marijuana sales, maintaining the consistent growth pattern that has defined the market over its first few years.
