Summary:
Tilray Beverages is seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Vice President, Finance to head and lead the financial operations of our Beer and Spirits division. As a key member of the executive leadership team, this role will serve as a trusted advisor to the President and play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy, driving operational excellence, and supporting long-term business growth. The SVP, Finance will oversee all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, while leading the integration of financial systems and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This leader will manage a high-performing finance team, foster cross-functional collaboration, and provide actionable insights to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and M&A activity.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic & Operational Financial Leadership
  • A financial advisor to the President, Tilray Beverages, Beer and Spirits and senior leadership team, contributing to strategic planning and business development.
  • Assist with the completion of our financial and forecasting system integration.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial models.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making and growth initiatives.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities, M&A activity, and capital allocation strategies.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Build, develop, and manage a high-performing finance team.
  • Audit and oversee accounting and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Foster a collaborative, cross-functional environment and communicate effectively across departments, while building a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and financial discipline.
  • Serve as a key member of an interdisciplinary leadership team, contributing to company-wide initiatives.
Financial Management & Reporting
  • Analyze financial results with respect to profitability, trends, cost control, and budget compliance.
  • Oversee monthly and quarterly reporting and close process.
  • Manage and oversee the accounting department (approx. 20 employees) activities of the company’s financial functions, including:
    • Accounts payable (interact with our shared services group)
    • Accounts receivable
    • General ledger
    • Financial reporting
    • Budgeting and forecasting
    • Financial analysis
    • Financial projects
    • Annual audit coordination
Planning, Analysis & Compliance
  • Assist senior management in financial planning and results management.
  • Collaborate with business unit leaders to understand revenue and cost drivers.
  • Define and implement appropriate reporting tools and dashboards.
  • Ensure timely and accurate budget analysis and financial reviews for the leadership team.
  • Recommend and develop financial policies, procedures, and systems to support company objectives.
  • Ensure timely and accurate compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and industry-specific standards.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA required).
  • 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, ideally in food & beverage, hospitality, or manufacturing.
  • Proven experience managing multi-entity, geographically dispersed operations.
  • Deep understanding of financial systems, financial regulations, cost accounting, and unit economics.
  • Experience with ERP systems, POS integration, and inventory management tools.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed to support business units across the U.S.
  • Experience working for a publicly traded and SOX compliant company is preferred.
