Cannabis association calls on province to promote B.C.’s world-famous cannabis amid trade war
The BC Craft Farmers Co-op (BCCFC) is bringing its annual cannabis summit to Victoria next week, highlighting the province’s cannabis legacy and its economic potential.
The 2025 BC Craft Cannabis Summit, themed ‘Legacy Meets the Legislature,’ will run April 16 to 20, with meetings scheduled around the provincial building.
“As the U.S. President threatens our economy, it is important the B.C. government and MLAs understand the significant economic potential of promoting B.C.’s world-famous cannabis across the province, throughout Canada and around the world,” said BCCFC president Tara Kirkpatrick.
The summit will focus on helping B.C. craft cannabis farmers transition to the legal market, promoting B.C.-first cannabis campaigns and developing a provincial cannabis tourism strategy.
