California: Alien Labs Cannabis Flower Recalled Due to Aspergillus Contamination, Sold in Multiple Counties
The recall, announced June 26, affects a product labeled as “Alien Labs Flower,” produced and packaged by 2JC LLC under license number C11-0001367-LIC. Specifically, the recall targets the Gemini strain in 3.5-gram size with batch number 88-08-120824-GEM-1F and UID 1A40603000034BF00005489. The affected units were packaged on or after December 23, 2024, and sold on or after January 13, 2025.
Contaminated product was distributed to licensed retailers across multiple California counties, including San Diego, Orange, Los Angeles, Sacramento, Stanislaus, San Joaquin, and Santa Cruz. Retailers include NHS Collective, 562 Discount Med, ECSD Management LLC, and Chai Cannabis Co., among others.
Consumers who purchased this product are urged to check their packages for the matching batch and UID numbers. If matched, they should return the product to the retailer or safely dispose of it. Anyone experiencing symptoms or adverse reactions should contact their physician.
