Oregon Marijuana Sales Reach $76.5 Million in June, $459 Million Year-to-Date, Garnering $78 Million in Taxes
That figure represents a 3% dip from the $79 million sold in June 2024. However, with the average cost down over 11% from the previous year, the overall volume of cannabis sold was actually higher in June 2025. From January through June, licensed marijuana retailers have sold approximately $459 million worth of products in 2025. Although this is a 3% decrease from the $477 million sold during the same period in 2024, the volume of cannabis sold is actually higher given prices are down roughly 11%.
Since the launch of legal sales in October 2016, total marijuana sales in the state have now reached $7.64 billion.
Based on Oregon’s 17% statewide marijuana tax rate, the $459 million in sales generated around $78 million in tax revenue for the first half of 2025. These funds support public education, mental health and substance use programs, law enforcement, and other essential services across the state.
Dried flower continues to lead all product categories, followed by concentrates and edibles.
