Michigan cannabis sales for September fell from a year ago as they fell sequentially by 11.3%, which was -8.3% on a per-day basis. At $251.3 million, sales were down 5.8% from a year earlier:

The Michigan Cannabis Regulatory Agency breaks out sales by medical and adult-use, with medical sales falling 60.8% from a year ago to $0.4 million, down 18.7% sequentially, and adult-use sales decreasing 5.6% year-over-year to $250.9 million, down 11.3% sequentially.

Michigan cannabis sales expanded 82.1% in 2021 to $1.79 billion, 27.9% in 2022 to $2.29 billion and 33.3% to $3.06 billion in 2023. In 2024, they grew by 7.6% to $3.29 billion, and they are down 4.0% so far in 2025. The program should continue to expand ahead as supply becomes more available and as distribution expands.
