Q3 2025 sales down slightly in New Brunswick as concentrates sales increase

New Brunswick sold $25.2 million worth of cannabis in the third quarter ended December 28, 2025, with $12.8 million in gross profits and $5.8 million in net income for the provincial agency.

This represents a nearly 1% year-over-year decrease compared to Q3 2024, an 8% increase in gross profits, and a 1% increase in net income.

Gross profits do not account for expenses beyond the cost of goods sold. Net income accounts for all expenses incurred, such as salaries, depreciation, and rent.

Dried cannabis flower made up 47% of the province’s sales while concentrates made up another 37%. Edibles accounted for 8% while all other products combined were 8% (Accessories, Clones, Extracts, Infused Beverages, Seeds, and Topicals). Dried flower sales in the previous year (Q3 2024) were just under 50%, while concentrates were 34%.

Cannabis NB currently operates 32 retail locations across the province, including new locations in Moncton and Fredericton. There are also 12 private cannabis stores in the province and eight cannabis farmgate stores.

The provincial cannabis agency’s current product call is closed on January 30, 2026. The next one will open on March 30. Cannabis NB also reviews out-of-cycle offers for one-time offers and bulk purchase opportunities.
