Florida medical cannabis dispensaries have sold nearly three billion milligrams of THC and nearly one million ounces of smokable cannabis in less than two months so far in 2026, according to new data from the Office of Medical Marijuana Use. As of February 20, Florida patients have now purchased a combined 2,870,213,016 milligrams of THC, 1,777 milligrams of CBD, and 984,842 ounces of marijuana in a form for smoking so far in 2026.

The newest OMMU reports shows that during the week of February 6–12, dispensaries sold 405,809,330 mg of THC, 398 mg of CBD, and 142,678.638 ounces of smokable marijuana. That was followed by another strong week from February 13–19, with 431,640,479 mg of THC and 142,121.949 ounces of smokable marijuana dispensed.

Through seven full reporting weeks in 2026 (January 2 through February 20), weekly THC totals have consistently hovered between roughly 366 million mg and 431 million mg, while smokable marijuana has remained above 130,000 ounces every week — peaking at more than 147,000 ounces in early February.

On average, Florida patients are purchasing just over 410 million mg of THC per week and roughly 140,700 ounces of smokable marijuana per week so far this year.

If this pace continues, Florida is on track to surpass 5 billion mg of THC sold before the end of the first quarter, reinforcing its position as one of the largest medical marijuana programs in the country.

As of February 20, the state has 932,890 qualified patients with active medical marijuana ID cards, continuing to reflect the scale and stability of the program.

With nearly one million ounces of smokable marijuana already sold in 2026 and THC totals rapidly climbing toward 3 billion mg, Florida’s medical marijuana market shows no signs of slowing as the year progresses.
