Life Is Chill and LoveBud have announced a joint venture aimed at bringing cannabis ordering kiosks to senior independent living communities across Arizona, a move the companies say is the first of its kind in the state. The initiative will deploy LoveBud-branded kiosks inside select senior communities. The kiosks will connect residents with partnered, licensed dispensaries and provide on-screen education designed to guide older adults through the ordering process.

According to the companies, the kiosks will feature a curated selection of cannabis products tailored to senior consumers, along with educational content explaining product types, dosing considerations and delivery options. Participating dispensaries must partner with LoveBud to support compliant delivery access where allowed under Arizona law.

“We are launching something Arizona has not seen yet, a kiosk experience that makes ordering simple when ordering from licensed dispensaries,” said James Watkins, CEO of LoveBud. “This creates a clear revenue opportunity for smaller dispensaries and gives customers a guided way to place orders with confidence.”

A primary focus of the rollout is improving access for seniors who may face transportation challenges or feel overwhelmed navigating traditional dispensary menus online or in-store. By placing kiosks directly within independent living communities, the companies say they hope to streamline the process while maintaining regulatory compliance.

“This model can improve access and education for older adults who want a straightforward, guided experience,” said Dana Lillestol, PhD., Life Is Chill’s senior education advocate. “When people can review clear product information at the point of ordering and choose delivery, it can remove common barriers and support more informed decisions.”

Life Is Chill said the products offered through the kiosks will be carefully selected to ensure consistency and to align with the needs of senior consumers. Additional details regarding specific kiosk locations and the timeline for deployment are expected to be announced once installations are confirmed.

Life Is Chill is the company behind Chill Pills, THC softgels designed for consistent dosing, and is owned by Ally Biotech, a company focused on cannabis bioavailability and delivery systems. LoveBud, founded in 2024 and based in Chandler, Arizona, operates a cannabis technology platform that includes a marketplace app, digital payment system and delivery infrastructure intended to connect consumers with licensed dispensaries.

The joint venture positions both companies at the intersection of cannabis technology and senior-focused services, targeting a demographic that continues to show growing interest in marijuana products for wellness and symptom management.
