Verano Opens 84th Florida Dispensary With New MÜV Location in Lehigh Acres, Its 161st Nationwide

Verano Holdings says it will open a new MÜV dispensary in Lehigh Acres on March 20, expanding its Florida footprint to 84 locations and bringing its nationwide total to 161 dispensaries. The new store is located at 902 Lee Boulevard in Lee County, an area the company says has more than 860,000 residents. According to Verano, the site is on a busy roadway with an average daily traffic count of 15,800 vehicles. The Lehigh Acres store will become the company’s sixth MÜV location in Lee County, joining existing dispensaries in Bonita Springs, Cape Coral, Fort Myers Beach, Fort Myers-Cypress and Fort Myers-Colonial.

Verano founder and CEO George Archos said the company is continuing to build momentum in Florida while expanding access for patients in the region. Florida remains one of the largest medical marijuana markets in the country, and major operators have continued opening new storefronts as competition for patients intensifies.

The company said the new dispensary will hold grand opening hours from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, followed by 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Permanent hours are set to begin March 23, with the store operating Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Verano also used the announcement to highlight several newer additions to its Florida product lineup, including Savvy 10-pack barrel-style prerolls, Avexia topicals such as balms, lotions and bath soaks, and Flower by Edie Parker vape products now available through MÜV stores in the state.

The company says its active operations now span 13 states, including 161 dispensaries and 14 cultivation and processing facilities with more than 1.1 million square feet of cultivation capacity. Florida remains one of Verano’s biggest retail markets, and the opening in Lehigh Acres adds to what is already one of the company’s most extensive state footprints.
