Cookies is the top-selling celebrity-backed marijuana brand in the United States, followed by Cheech & Chong’s and Garcia Hand Picked, according to new data from the research firm Headset. The breakdown of U.S. celebrity brand performance for 2025, which was first reported by MJBizDaily, shows Cookies, backed by rapper Berner, bringing in $6,375,526 in monthly sales. That puts it well ahead of the rest of the field, with Cheech & Chong’s in second at $3,474,057 and Garcia Hand Picked, tied to Jerry Garcia’s estate, in third at $2,682,555.
Khalifa Kush, backed by Wiz Khalifa, ranked fourth with $1,837,086 in monthly sales. Tyson 2.0, associated with Mike Tyson, was fifth at $819,726, followed by Willie’s Reserve from Willie Nelson at $755,125 and Belushi’s Farm from Jim Belushi at $685,274.
Rounding out the list were TICAL, the Method Man-backed brand, at $488,676; Viola, tied to Al Harrington, at $190,422; and Ric Flair Drip at $133,628.
The figures also show a major gap between the largest celebrity brands and the broader market. Headset lists the average U.S. brand at $324,345 in monthly sales, meaning Cookies is bringing in nearly 20 times that amount. Cheech & Chong’s and Garcia Hand Picked are also far above the national brand average.
Average item price varied widely across the brands. Garcia Hand Picked had the highest listed average item price at $27.86, followed closely by Cookies at $27.56, Willie’s Reserve at $27.00 and Ric Flair Drip at $25.26. Khalifa Kush came in at $25.83, while Tyson 2.0 averaged $18.62 and TICAL averaged $13.28.
At the lower end, Cheech & Chong’s posted an average item price of $8.80, while Viola had the lowest on the list at $6.38. Despite those lower price points, Cheech & Chong’s still ranked second in monthly sales, suggesting strong volume compared to several brands with significantly higher average prices.
The numbers make clear that celebrity name recognition can translate into major marijuana sales, but only for a small group of brands that have managed to break through in a crowded national market.
