- Florida’s medical marijuana sales hit $176.9 million in March 2026, marking the strongest monthly total of the year and bringing first-quarter sales to $484.2 million, up 7% from the same period in 2025.
- Flower was the leading product category in March, accounting for 45% of sales, followed by vape products at 24%, edibles at 14%, and concentrates and prerolls each representing 6.5% of sales.
- The data indicates that while flower remains the dominant product, patients are increasingly purchasing vapes and edibles, which together made up 38% of March sales.
- Florida continues to be the most active medical marijuana market in the U.S., and with March’s strong performance, the state is on track for a record sales year in 2026.
Florida’s medical marijuana market generated $176,851,172 in sales in March, according to new data from research firm Headset. That marks the strongest monthly total of the year so far and brings the state’s first-quarter sales to $484,198,166.
That total includes $160,234,674 in January and $147,112,320 in February, in addition to March’s $176.9 million. Combined, the first three months of 2026 were up 7% from the roughly $450 million sold during the same period in 2025, showing continued strength in one of the nation’s largest medical marijuana markets.
Flower remained the dominant category in March, accounting for 45% of all sales. Vape products made up 24%, while edibles represented 14%. Concentrates and prerolls each captured 6.5% of sales, with the remaining share spread across other product categories.
The numbers show that traditional products continue to drive Florida’s market, with flower alone making up nearly half of all purchases. At the same time, vapes and edibles continue to hold a sizable share, together accounting for 38% of March sales. That suggests patients are continuing to branch out beyond smokable marijuana, even as flower remains the foundation of the state’s medical program.
Florida remains the most active medical marijuana market in the country, with steady demand across multiple product categories. With March posting the highest monthly total of 2026 so far, the state is on pace for a record year if current sales trends continue.
