Tilray Brands has launched ZONNA, a new cannabis brand offering fast-acting THC pouches for adult consumers seeking a smoke-free and discreet alternative to traditional marijuana products.
The company announced Thursday that ZONNA is launching with Bubble Pink pouches, each containing 10 milligrams of THC. The products are now available through licensed cannabis retailers across Canada.
Designed to be placed between the gum and lip, the odor-free pouches use Capsoil technology to provide what Tilray describes as a fast-acting cannabis experience. Each container includes 15 pouches for a total of 150 milligrams of THC.
The pouches are sold in a child-resistant container featuring separate compartments for unused and used pouches, allowing consumers to store used products until they can be properly discarded.
“Consumer demand is redefining what cannabis can be, and Tilray is leading that evolution through innovation that expands choice for adult consumers,” said Blair MacNeil, president of Tilray Canada.
MacNeil said consumer preferences are increasingly shifting toward cannabis products that offer discreet, convenient, precise and smoke-free consumption.
“By combining fast-acting Capsoil technology with a controlled-dose pouch, we are expanding choice, creating new occasions for cannabis consumption, and reinforcing Tilray’s leadership in bringing forward products that move the industry forward,” MacNeil said.
Tilray said the fixed 10-milligram dose is intended to provide a more controlled experience while reducing uncertainty associated with some other forms of cannabis consumption.
ZONNA’s launch adds Tilray to the growing market for alternative cannabis products designed for consumers who do not want to smoke, vape or consume traditional edibles.
The Canadian products are produced and distributed by Aphria Inc., a Tilray subsidiary licensed under Canada’s Cannabis Act. Tilray operates cannabis, beverage, wellness and food brands in more than 20 countries.
