Florida Medical Marijuana Sales Surpass 13.3 Billion mg of THC and 4.56 Million Ounces in 2026, Patient Count Reaches 939,381

Florida medical marijuana treatment centers have now dispensed more than 13.3 billion milligrams of THC and 4.56 million ounces of smokable marijuana in 2026, while the number of registered patients has climbed to 939,381, according to the two newest weekly reports from the state’s Office of Medical Marijuana Use.
During the July 31 through August 6 reporting period, dispensaries sold 427,984,636 milligrams of THC and 150,803.116 ounces of marijuana in a form for smoking. The state reported 939,381 qualified patients with active identification cards and 774 dispensing locations.
Combined with previously reported totals, that brings year-to-date dispensations to 13,369,831,520 milligrams of THC and 4,569,595.235 ounces of smokable marijuana.
The newest weekly figures represent an increase from July 24 through July 30, when dispensaries reported 423,478,311 milligrams of THC and 146,369.661 ounces of smokable marijuana. THC dispensations increased approximately 1.1% week over week, while smokable marijuana sales rose about 3%.
Florida’s patient count has also continued to rise. The July 31 report listed 938,980 active patients, meaning the total increased by 401 in the newest report and by 946 since the July 24 report cited by The Marijuana Herald.
Trulieve remained the state’s largest operator during the newest reporting period, dispensing 110,102,984 milligrams of THC and 54,220.286 ounces of smokable marijuana through 170 locations. MÜV followed with 51,597,793 milligrams and 14,543.361 ounces, while Curaleaf Florida reported 49,682,081 milligrams and 16,013.855 ounces. Ayr Cannabis Dispensary sold 40,551,008 milligrams of THC and 9,473.923 ounces.
Other operators with notable totals included GTI Florida, with 21,152,486 milligrams of THC and 4,688.447 ounces; FLUENT, with 16,719,655 milligrams and 3,231.782 ounces; Green Dragon, with 15,042,583 milligrams and 7,091.716 ounces; and Surterra Wellness, with 14,994,269 milligrams and 3,924.250 ounces.
The state listed 774 dispensing locations in the August 7 report, up from 771 a week earlier. Newly approved locations included GTI Florida stores in Port Charlotte and Port St. Lucie and a Goldflower Cannabis location in Orange Park.
Florida voters legalized medical marijuana through Amendment 2 in 2016. The state operates a vertically integrated system in which licensed medical marijuana treatment centers cultivate, process and dispense marijuana to registered patients.
