Michigan marijuana regulators have announced the recall of 786 marijuana concentrate products after testing indicated they contained a banned chemical.
Fawn River Cultivation Company LLC, in coordination with the Michigan Cannabis Regulatory Agency (CRA), issued the voluntary recall Friday for Hash Melts Green Crack 1G Live Rosin Dab products produced on June 16.
According to the CRA, the products are being recalled after testing indicated the live rosin contained a banned chemical. The agency did not identify the chemical detected or provide additional details regarding the test results.
State distribution records show that **786 units** of the recalled product were distributed to licensed marijuana retailers across Michigan, including stores in Niles, Adrian, Battle Creek, Muskegon, Grand Rapids, Ann Arbor, Detroit, New Buffalo and numerous other communities.
Fawn River has received no reports of adverse health effects or other adverse events connected to the recalled products as of Friday, according to regulators.
The company has identified retailers that received the affected products and is working with those businesses to retrieve and dispose of any remaining inventory.
Consumers who purchased the recalled Hash Melts product are being advised to return it to the retailer where it was purchased or dispose of it safely. The CRA has published a list of affected sales locations and Metrc package identification numbers to help consumers determine whether their product is included in the recall.
Anyone who experiences an adverse reaction after using the product should contact a healthcare provider. Consumers may also report adverse reactions directly to the CRA.
Licensed retailers that received the affected products are required to post the recall notification in a visible location for 30 days.
