Lead Inventory Associate
Type of Work: Full-Time
Shift Availability: The candidate must have open availability on weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Hourly Pay Rate: $17.50/hr

Who You Are:
As the Lead Inventory Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in managing inventory operations at a high-volume dispensary. You’ll handle product intake, ensure compliance with state regulations, and maintain accurate inventory records using systems like Metrc, Dutchie POS, and other state-specific tracking platforms. Your work will directly support an outstanding team, guest, and patient experience through efficient and accurate inventory management.
What You’ll Do:
- Maintain precise inventory records throughout the product lifecycle.
- Oversee product intake, ensuring invoice accuracy and system entry with correct naming.
- Perform regular cycle counts, audits, and monthly full-store inventory assessments.
- Ensure adherence to inventory procedures and compliance with state regulations.
- Investigate and identify inventory discrepancies in partnership with the Store Manager.
- Coach and advise team members on proper inventory handling and care.
- Accurately log receipts, process documentation, and manage manifests for all deliveries.
- Regularly audit the menu platform to ensure product information complies with state laws.
- Support scheduling for inventory team members and manage inventory supplies.
- Occasional travel (up to 5%) to support nearby locations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
What You’ll Bring:
- At least 1 year in a retail inventory leadership or supervisory role.
- Proven experience in training and developing team members.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Occasional overnight shifts required.
- A commitment to adhering to state regulations and maintaining compliance.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a solutions-oriented mindset.

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk or hear, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, use hands and finger to feel, reach with hands and arms, and lift up to 25 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, and lift up to 50 pounds. This position requires close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less).
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional retail environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, POS systems, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This position has allergen warnings including potential exposure to dust, pollen, and plant pathogens and requires the ability to work in confined spaces, have a high stress tolerance, adaptability, and be flexible to work in an ever-changing environment.
