The Regional Compliance Manager will assist in implementing and auditing compliance, training, and initiatives for regional retail and manufacturing facilities. The Regional Compliance Manager will conduct daily and periodic internal audits and inspections to ensure corporate initiatives and activities abide by local, state, and federal cannabis regulations. The Regional Compliance Manager will be responsible for drafting and filing internal audit and incident reports for delivery to the VP of Compliance. The Regional Compliance Manager will report to the VP of Compliance.

WHAT YOU WILL DO


  • Support audit preparation, conduct audit and compliance activities and maintain the facility and regulatory certifications.
  • Draft and file audit and incident reports for submission to the VP of Compliance and Regulating Authorities.
  • Coordinate with state and local regulatory bodies for site inspections and facility modifications.
  • Remain abreast of state regulations pertaining to the cultivation, manufacture and retail of Cannabis
  • Assist in revision and development of SOPs for cultivation, manufacturing and retail.
  • Coordinate with HR for required licensure and responsible vendor training for employees in the cultivation, manufacture and retail facilities.
  • Other duties as assigned by the VP of Compliance and Director of Operations
  • WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the legal Adult Use or Medical cannabis cultivation or product manufacture preferred
  • Prior experience in regulatory compliance, cultivation/extraction management, inventory auditing, loss prevention, risk management, or similar position
  • Analytical mindset and strong critical thinking skills
  • Familiarity with safe workplace standards in industrial settings
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage high stress situations, and to be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires it
  • Detail oriented with an eye for process streamlining
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills
  • Must be 21 years of age or older as required by the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission
  • Able to pass all background checks as mandated by Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission
  • Prior experience in cannabis is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with business state cannabis industry regulations is a plus
