JOB SUMMARY
The Material Handlers work within a company's warehouse, moving, handling, and storing different materials. They track the stock within the warehouse, record orders and the company's merchandise. Material Handlers are regularly on their feet loading and unloading inventory, supplies and other packages from various locations, like storage and production areas, delivery trucks and loading docks.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES
- Forklift Operations
- Verifying the accuracy of the quantity and quality of incoming delivers
- Labeling every product and placing them accordingly
- Identifying and locating the right products during the delivery process
- Keeping a well-maintained and updated account of stock and inventory
- Keeping all material handling equipment in the best condition by conducting regular maintenance
- Keeping data on the availability of products in short supply
- Collaborating with internal departments to locate missing packages, fix incorrect deliveries and replace damaged products.
- Working outside in the elements
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of distribution, or warehouse experience
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to adhere to strict policies and procedure
- Well organized and ability to keep deadlines
- Works well with all peers
- Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment
- Data Entry, math, and computer skills
- Basic Excel, Word, and general compute knowledge
- Fast, efficient, nimble.
- Experience working in a shifting environment with a great deal of constructive feedback and input
- Must be 21 years or older and pass any and all required pre-employment screenings
- Full knowledge of all applicable law, regulations, and requirements to keep the facility at 100% compliance at all times, this includes being up to date on any changes to current applicable laws/regulations
- Must be and remain compliant with any and all regulatory requirements for working in the cannabis industry
- Must be able to obtain and retain a Registered Agent Card issued by the state of operation
- Must have excellent organization and time management skills
- Must be focused, pay close attention to detail
- Must be able to internalize training and follow instructions
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively
