Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage work requests using the Canopy CMMS system (Fiix); distribute work orders and ensure scheduled activities are completed efficiently and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Establish and maintain preventative maintenance plans for all facility equipment by working closely with Maintenance Supervisors and Operations. This includes:
Identifying all assets requiring preventative maintenance.
Developing maintenance schedules and task lists tailored to each equipment type.
Entering preventative maintenance plans into Fiix and ensuring they are up to date.
Coordinating with Operations to minimize disruption during scheduled maintenance.
Reviewing and adjusting maintenance plans based on equipment performance and feedback.
Plan and schedule maintenance activities, including outage planning and corrective maintenance.
Evaluate equipment breakdowns, create and catalog critical spare parts lists, and maintain inventory of supplies, spare parts, tools, and equipment.
Oversee asset capturing and tagging in Fiix, ensuring all facility equipment is properly catalogued.
Communicate effectively with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and other departments regarding urgent requests, site visits, deliveries, and job scheduling.
Provide administrative support to the Facilities department, including vendor management and daily analysis/recording of maintenance KPIs from Fiix.
Perform occasional fieldwork in restricted spaces, elevated areas, and noisy/dusty environments; must be able to climb ladders and travel occasionally.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience:
Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), preferably Fiix.
Strong understanding of preventative maintenance principles and practices.
Familiarity with facilities operations, maintenance planning, and inventory management.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors.
Ability to analyze data and maintenance KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to work in industrial environments, including elevated areas and confined spaces.
Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
Previous experience in facilities coordination or maintenance planning is an asset.
