This role is responsible for supervising cannabis-infused product synthesis, including formulation, emulsification, blending, unit production, and packaging. The Supervisor will ensure that production meets operational, quality, and compliance standards while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, product development, and brand growth.

The Infused Product Supervisor plays a vital role in upholding Jushi’s core values and will be instrumental in delivering customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and consistent compliance with regulatory standards.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:


  • Provide effective leadership, fostering alignment with the company’s mission, vision, and values to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Supervise the daily production of cannabis-infused products within the production laboratory, ensuring adherence to all operational, safety, and compliance protocols.
  • Utilize scientific principles to guide formulation and product development processes.
  • Monitor and maintain production logs, laboratory notebooks, and batch records with precision and accuracy.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment used in infused product manufacturing.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and state regulations, including equipment use, labeling, and batch documentation.
  • Support quality assurance by reviewing analytical testing results (e.g., HPLC, GC, microbial testing) and ensuring products meet internal standards and regulatory specifications.
  • Assist in implementing new methods to enhance product quality, technical capabilities, and operational efficiency.
  • Support inventory audits and ensure accurate data entry within the seed-to-sale tracking system.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary laboratory and production space; ensure equipment is maintained and in proper working condition.
  • Collaborate with management to draft and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for production sequences and product formulations.
  • Assist with compliance activities, including creation of batch records and product labeling per Pennsylvania regulations.
  • Mentor and support team members with hands-on leadership and guidance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Formulation Chemistry, Biochemistry, Manufacturing, Food Science, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline, OR 2+ years of hands-on cannabis manufacturing experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a production or lab setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cannabis product manufacturing, including formulation, extraction, and various routes of administration.
  • Experience working in regulated environments with a strong focus on compliance, documentation, and safety.
  • Strong math and analytical skills; proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with laboratory equipment such as vacuum ovens, filling equipment, hot plates, etc.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Valid State ID or driver’s license.
  • Must be and remain compliant with all legal and company regulations for working in the cannabis industry
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:


  • Frequent sitting and walking; occasional bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, and crawling.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Good manual dexterity and visual acuity required for equipment use and document review.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with team members and management.
  • WORK ENVIRONMENT:


  • Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor production areas.
  • Must be able to work in hot, humid environments with exposure to dust, allergens, and moisture.
  • Use of appropriate PPE is required.
  • Extended periods of standing, kneeling, and twisting in confined spaces may be required.
