Job Summary
As part of a collaborative HR team, the Total Rewards Administrator is the go-to for day-to-day benefits administration and employee support, while also contributing to projects that enhance the effectiveness, accessibility, and visibility of Total Rewards programs. The Total Rewards Administrator ensures the accurate, complete, timely and relevant information maintenance for Total Rewards programs and supports the team in developing and communicating materials related to Total Rewards.


As a Total Rewards Administrator you will..

  • Administer group insurance, RRSP and Employee Share Purchase programs ensuring accurate records and timely updates during lifecycle changes.
  • Assist employees and HRBP’s with the medical LOA process.
  • Act as primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits eligibility, claims, and enrollment.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, brokers, and carriers to resolve issues, escalating as required.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of the annual open enrollment process, including system updates, communication materials, and employee and vendor support.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding Total Rewards programs and policies.
  • Generate reports, completing audits, identifying issues, and initiating corrections on Total Reports programs as required.
  • Ensure that Total Rewards information is accurate, timely and user-friendly.
  • Collaborate on the development of communication materials and maintenance of the HR intranet.
  • Conduct research on Total Rewards best practices and employment standards.
  • Contribute to the improvement of internal Total Rewards processes, enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and consistency process improvements.
  • Assisting Total Rewards and broader HR team members as required.

  • Ability to interpret and analyze data in various formats.
  • Effective problem-solving skills, including the ability to research issues for solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) with a customer service-oriented mindset.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, ability to assess situational urgency along with strong time management skills.
  • Track record of handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office, particularly Excel formulas and pivot tables.
  • Familiarity with payroll cycles, benefit administration tools, and HRIS systems.
  • Proactive and resourceful with strong critical thinking when navigating complex or ambiguous situations.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative approach.

You’re the ideal candidate because have..

  • Post secondary education in Human Resources or Business Administration.
  • 1-2 years of experience in human resources, payroll or administration.
