In collaboration with R&D, the Director of D9 is responsible for the development and direction of the Charlotte’s Web D9 product portfolio, insights data, and sales strategy. Synthesizes market, consumer, product, and competitive data to drive decisions that result in the best products for our customers while also driving strategic business results.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Provides information and thought leadership on new product development and marketing strategy developed by R&D related to delta 9 and hemp portfolio.
  • Ensures consumer data supports product introduction into the portfolio.
  • Owns product portfolio analysis to determine if portfolio of products is appropriate for current market demands and consumer needs.
  • Plans and implements the go-to-market strategy for key categories within the product portfolio. Monitors product launches and ensures their success. Monitors progress post launch to ensure continued success.
  • Oversees the execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborates on the new evolution of product roadmaps for current year and 1-5 years into the future.
  • Ensures product marketing cohesion across omnichannel marketing funnel.
  • Conducts and presents market research and actionable insights, including the competitive landscape and product comparisons.
  • Develops and executes the sales strategy for the delta 9 portfolio.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives. Provide regular reporting and analysis to senior leadership.

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • 8 or more years of experience in cannabis product marketing and sales, preferably in launching new products.
  • Deep understanding of marketing strategies, market research, and product positioning.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and insights to drive informed decisions.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the natural products space.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving business growth.
  • Experience working with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
