The Opportunity
Apollo has clinical hours available, and we are actively recruiting for a Nurse Practitioners to work mostly with our Veteran patients, prescribing Medical Cannabis through our virtual platform. The candidate can be licensed in any province.

Responsibilities
Provide consultations for veterans and other patients interested in obtaining a medical cannabis prescription
Help educate patients on the use of cannabis as medicine
Follow up with patients and monitor response to dosage and cannabinoids prescribed
Other duties assigned.
Experience
Registered with and in good standing with the College of Nurses
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal in English
Demonstrated ability to work independently and to manage a busy workload
Team-oriented approach with existing team members and physicians
Must be highly organized and have a good sense of time management
Informed and abreast of scientific research and willing to learn more about the industry
Experience in pain management or mental health is an asset
Previous work with veterans and/or medical cannabis is a big asset
Bilingual is an asset

This is a part time position based out of Ontario, however we will consider candidates across Canada
