Position Overview:
We are searching for a dynamic and energetic HR Manager to manage day-to-day HR operations across our SweetWater Brewing Company site in Atlanta, Georgia. Reporting to the HR Director, Beverages and in collaboration with the corporate HR team, the successful candidate will be responsible for oversight of general Human Resources including but not limited to employee engagement, performance management, organizational development, compensation and benefits, payroll, employee relations/investigations, policy development, and recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:
Employee Engagement & Culture
  • Understand local levers of employee engagement and partner with leaders to create a great workplace culture across our operations facilities.
  • Coordinate policy development, reviews, analyzes and implements revised/new policies. Standardize across operations. Advise and assist departmental managers on interpretation and administration. Engage employees on policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, and opportunities for promotion
  • Identify and create solutions to continuously improve the overall health of the organization across key dimensions such as morale, effectiveness, retention, absenteeism and productivity.
  • Develop and execute local Human Resource programs such employee recognition, activities and recreational programs in a way supporting internal equity and organization's competitiveness.
Employee Relations
  • Addressing and resolve employee relations issues with pace and sound judgement in order to continue to maintain our positive work environment.
  • Remain current with best practices, legislative changes and industry standards, advising managers on organizational matters such as discrimination, discipline, harassment, etc.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
Talent Management
  • Partner with people managers on workforce planning, understanding resource and/or capability gaps, evaluating for duplication of work activities across roles and departments and providing recommendations on department and/or organization structure.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers and support recruitment activities through the recruitment process; Must also be willing to take on recruitment if there is overflow of roles due to hiring spikes in other areas of the Tilray Brands business.
  • Responsible for local, new hire orientation, embedding performance management and launching new HR programs as rolled out by the Corporate HR team.
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify critical roles, assess local talent and create succession plans.
  • Support organizational development initiatives as directed by senior HR leadership.
Organizational Development/Effectiveness
  • Provide counsel in promotions, transfers, employment agreements, job classification, performance evaluation, and employee relations according to policies and principals.
  • Assist in implementing change management initiatives.
  • Provide reports to operations management and decision support through HR metrics: benefit costs, staffing levels/deployment, turnover, absenteeism, recruitment, applicant tracking, compensation, promotions and employee productivity.
Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and Best HR Practices
  • 7+ years’ experience in HR or a combination of education and experience; manufacturing sector an asset
  • Ability to work well under pressure, individually and as part of a team
  • Proven project management skills required with demonstrated ability to manage human resources core processes such as performance, compensation, talent management, succession planning and employee relations
  • Well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills with sound leadership, staff management, and team building skills
  • Able to make sound business decisions and data-based recommendations to senior management and demonstrated ability to have a positive impact on business results.
  • Highly adept at Microsoft Office Applications, HRIS, and other applicable human resources applications.
