JOB SUMMARY

The Cure Room Tech is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the post-harvest curing process of cannabis flower to ensure optimal quality, potency, and consistency. This role plays a critical part in preserving terpene profiles, cannabinoid content, and overall product integrity during one of the most sensitive phases of production. The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail, a deep understanding of humidity and temperature controls, and experience working in a highly regulated environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Monitor and adjust environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, airflow) to support proper curing of cannabis flower.
  • Track and document cure timelines, batch information, and environmental readings per regulatory and company standards.
  • Ensure all material in the cure room(s) are accurately weighed and recorded in all desired locations.
  • Collaborate with the trimming and packaging teams to coordinate workflow and meet production schedules.

OTHER JOB RESPONSIBILITES

  • Maintain strict cleanliness and sanitation standards in the cure room and storage areas.
  • Operating different machinery to infuse/shred material
  • Comply with all state and local regulations, as well as internal SOPs and safety procedures.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant vocational or technical training preferred.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements in a licensed cannabis facility.
  • Ability to lift 20+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • 1+ year of experience in a cannabis post-harvest role, preferably curing or drying.
  • Strong understanding of cannabis curing principles and the importance of moisture, temperature, and airflow.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
