JOB SUMMARY

The Fulfillment Order Lead oversees daily fulfillment operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in order processing. Acting as the primary workflow coordinator, this role guides team members, resolves operational issues, and keeps fulfillment tasks aligned with organizational goals. The Lead actively participates in order processing while providing direction, training, and quality oversight to the fulfillment team.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Oversee and perform order building and sublotting with accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure order tags are printed, organized, and distributed on time.
  • Manifest orders and distribute manifests to customers/sales.
  • Prepare delivery materials for drivers.
  • Monitor team progress and adjust priorities to meet operational demands.

OTHER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide hands-on training and mentorship for fulfillment staff.
  • Investigate and determine root causes of rejections.
  • Collaborate with inventory teams to resolve discrepancies.
  • Step into other fulfillment roles during peak periods or staff shortages.
  • Support process improvements and implementation of new procedures.
  • May be required to work in other roles and/or departments based upon business need.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be 21 years of age or older and able to pass a background check.
  • Must be able to obtain and retain a valid Registered Agent Card issued by the state.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in basic computer functions; ability to learn order management systems.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work independently.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to work overtime when required.

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in cannabis fulfillment, distribution, or production.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with cannabis compliance software (e.g., METRC, BioTrack).
  • Experience training or mentoring team members.
  • Demonstrated success implementing process improvements.
