Job Summary
The Project Manager, Supply Planning and Digital Transformation, is responsible for directing the implementation of Aurora’s new enterprise Supply Planning platform, Kinaxis RapidResponse (Maestro). This role provides end-to-end oversight of the project lifecycle, from initiation and data readiness through configuration, validation, and production cutover. The position ensures that the implementation aligns with Aurora’s business processes, IT architecture, and digital transformation objectives.


Working under the direction of the Director, IT Digital Transformation and ERP, the Project Manager leads a cross-functional team comprising internal IT staff, business stakeholders, and external partners. The role requires coordinating activities across multiple workstreams, ensuring technical deliverables meet quality standards, and managing risk, scope, and budget in line with PMO governance requirements.


Following completion of the Supply Planning implementation, the position will also assume project management responsibility for related initiatives, including Finite Scheduling (PlanetTogether) and Demand Planning. Each of these initiatives forms part of a broader roadmap to integrate planning, scheduling, and forecasting capabilities across Aurora’s operations.


The Project Manager is expected to maintain strong collaboration with stakeholders across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, and IT, providing structured leadership, disciplined project execution, and assurance that project outcomes are achieved on time and within defined parameters. As the Project Manager, 1ERP you will be involved in
  • Develop and maintain the comprehensive project schedule, mobilize the project team, and ensure readiness for each delivery phase, from blueprint to go-live.
  • Coordinate with data, IT, and functional stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely loading of customer data into RapidResponse, validating structure, integrity, and planning outputs.
  • Oversee the configuration, validation, and testing of RapidResponse per the approved blueprint.
  • Lead end-to-end testing (E2E), user acceptance testing (UAT), and business readiness validation to ensure system outputs are accurate, trusted, and aligned with planning requirements.
  • Collaborate with both internal IT teams and external vendors (IMTEK, Kinaxis) to confirm system architecture, security, and integration readiness.
  • Manage cutover readiness, go/no-go decision checkpoints, and transition to production and business-as-usual (BAU) operations.
  • Supervise the Hypercare phase, ensuring stability of the production environment and knowledge transfer to operational support teams.
  • Create the overall Project Schedule, mobilize, and prepare the Project team, review, and align on the Blueprint, and prepare technical infrastructure
  • Provide Hypercare Support for the Production Environment for a pre-defined period, and close-out any transition activities from Project team to Business as Usual (BAU) operations. Minimum Required Master Data Preparation (internal).
  • Develop and execute detailed project plans, Gantt charts, resource models, and milestone schedules in alignment with PMO standards.
  • Ensure scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are met across all workstreams.
  • Partner with business leaders, IT, and implementation vendors to resolve conflicts, align priorities, and maintain strategic focus.
  • Establish and maintain project governance documentation, including RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Decisions) logs, communication plans, and change control records.
  • Facilitate stakeholder communications and regular progress reporting to executive sponsors, PMO leadership, and project steering committees.
  • Work with business process owners to align planning workflows, master data, and scheduling processes with the new system design.
  • Oversee coordination with ERP and MES teams to ensure system integration, data flow, and synchronization between planning and execution platforms.
  • Lead user enablement, training, and readiness programs to drive system adoption and process standardization.
  • Support financial tracking, ROI realization, and continuous improvement initiatives post-implementation
  • Apply enterprise-level risk management and quality assurance frameworks to ensure project delivery meets business and regulatory expectations.

You would be the best fit for this role if you have…
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field required.
  • Master’s degree (MBA or MSc in Supply Chain / IT Management) preferred.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in IT project management, including at least 5 years leading ERP, SCM, or digital transformation projects.
  • Kinaxis RapidResponse (or equivalent SCM platform) implementation experience strongly preferred.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification required; Kinaxis or APICS/CPIM certification an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering projects in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or cannabis) is highly advantageous.

Bonus points if you have…
  • Advanced understanding of Supply Chain Management (SCM) principles, particularly Supply Planning, Finite Scheduling, and Demand Planning.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Kinaxis RapidResponse (Maestro) and integration best practices.
  • Familiarity with PlanetTogether, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, ETL processes, and master data management in a multi-system environment.
  • Experience managing system migrations, integrations, and performance optimization within a regulated industry (e.g., pharmaceuticals, healthcare, cannabis, or manufacturing).
  • Proficient in project scheduling, budgeting, and risk mitigation using PMO-standard tools and methodologies (Agile, Hybrid, or Waterfall).
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams including IT, supply chain, finance, and external implementation partners.
  • Strong ability to facilitate business process re-engineering and change management across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills to manage competing priorities in a complex technical environment.
  • Skilled in executive reporting, stakeholder engagement, and vendor relationship management.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and secure buy-in from senior leadership.
  • Capable of balancing strategic vision with hands-on project delivery.
  • Customer-focused approach emphasizing transparency, accountability, and value creation.
