We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Manager of Supply Chain to lead and optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations, including demand planning, material planning, production scheduling, and customer shipments. This strategic role is critical in driving operational excellence, enhancing customer satisfaction, and achieving cost and lead-time reductions across the supply chain.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain leadership, with a proven track record of implementing ERP systems, developing high-performing teams, and delivering measurable process improvements. This role will be responsible for leading the implementation of a new ERP system, building and mentoring a professional supply chain management team, and identifying and executing initiatives to streamline operations, reduce costs, and shorten lead times. The ideal candidate is energetic, collaborative, and forward-thinking.

What you’ll be doing:
- Manage the company’s forecasting and demand planning, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to understand unconstrained demand to drive business growth
- Manage the company’s material planning, ensuring that materials are available to meet production plans without holding excess inventory
- Manage the company’s production scheduling, bringing together the forecasts and material plans and delivering a comprehensive manufacturing schedule to tactical Operations to ensure success in achieving true customer demand
- Manage the company’s customer supply chain, including logistics, by processing transactions timely, overseeing logistics and carriers, and handling customer issues related to delivery
- Review current supply chain processes and identify gaps in teams and tools to help develop and drive continuous improvement plans
- Support the scheduling team with developing and implementing capacity planning tools to optimize production plans and support manpower hiring decisions
- Responsible for inventory monitoring – ensuring materials are in stock as required, reviewing weeks-of-coverage and evaluating over/under supply and managing inventory levels to meet production and sales objectives while maximizing working capital
- Oversee the day-to-day purchasing of materials and finished goods from pre-approved and onboarded vendors
- Oversee the implementation of an ERP system (SAP) within the Supply Chain organization to reduce the reliance on spreadsheets and manual processes for improved accuracy and efficiency
- Mentor, coach and develop a high performing supply chain team, ensuring adequate cross-training and access to development opportunities
- Lead the supply chain team through the New Product and Innovation process, ensuring timely and accurate project updates and ensuring readiness for the execution of new product launches and existing product renovations
- Anticipate and implement necessary changes to supply chain strategy and process to support growth. This includes working with manufacturing on capacity requirement forecasting in production, warehousing requirements and other facility areas impacted by continued forecast growth
- Work strategically with external partners including customers, co-packers, vendors, carriers, and other strategic partners. Actively partner with key strategic suppliers to ensure two-way, collaborative relationships that deliver greater levels of innovation and operational competitive advantage.
- Assist in the creation/development of standard operating procedures to help build best-in-class controls and redundancy around supply chain tasks, systems and processes
- Support inventory control as required for internal and external cycle counts, year-end inventory and monthly reconciliations
- Own the cost center and budget for the Supply Chain organization
- Lead and develop people capabilities by setting clear objectives and accountability within the team
- Drive team performance through strategic value stream improvements including the development and use of KPIs for teams that help identify constraint and waste and measure improvement
- Quantify risks and opportunities to the commercial plans and supply chain objectives.
You’ll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business or related field
- 15+ years of experience in supply chain, including 7+ years in leadership with a successful track record in complex supply chain management within consumer products, pharmaceuticals, or manufacturing.
- Proven expertise in supply chain functions: sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, demand/supply planning, forecasting, continuous improvement, and engineering.
- Strong strategic planning skills with experience aligning operational functions to corporate strategies, using data and KPIs to drive measurable results.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional teams, fostering innovation, and building strong stakeholder relationships.
- Effective communicator with experience presenting at all levels of the organization, from executives to cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills; comfortable navigating ambiguity and changing priorities.
- Experience with implementation and optimization of ERP systems, SAP preferred
- CSCP, CPIM, CPSM or similar certification an asset
