JOB SUMMARY

A Kitchen Supervisor is responsible for supervising a team with day-to-day production of edible products. The Kitchen Supervisor provides direct support to the Kitchen Associates including training, coaching, developing, policies, and procedures, and performs their duties in compliance with company policy and food safety guidelines. This position reports to the Kitchen Manager

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Follows the production schedule to ensure team makes product on time and at expected quality specifications
  • Maintains a food safe quality environment
  • Maintains inventory levels to ensure team has what is needed to make product
  • Perform administrative functions of staffing, payroll and performance management
  • Point person concerning products and services, policies and procedures, and changes in regulations.
  • Coach and develop the Cultivation Technicians, provide constant developmental feedback

OTHER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversees packaging and labeling of products accurately
  • Oversees Operation of machines to ensure machines are operating to fully perform functions
  • Track and weigh all ingredients accurately
  • Ensures demolding production pieces is completed timely
  • Maintain PPE equipment and ensure the availability of equipment
  • Rejects products that fail quality standards.
  • Assist with and delegate tasks to kitchen associates to maintain a compliant and clean kitchen
  • Oversee daily kitchen tasks and processes ensuring all ingredients are accurately tracked and weighed

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-2 years' experience leading a team
  • Must​ ​be​ ​a​t least ​21​ ​years​ ​of​ ​age
  • Knowledge of food safety guidelines
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must​ be able to ​obtain​ ​and​ ​retain​ ​a​ ​Registered Agent Card issued by the state of operation
  • Microsoft Excel experience required
  • Must understand and comply to applicable state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives, and standard operating procedures within the cannabis industry
