Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about maintaining accurate data records? We are seeking a highly motivated Site Buyer to join our team in our Athol, MA production facility. As a Site Buyer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our ERP system by compiling and verifying information from various sources. Your meticulous approach will directly impact our inventory management processes and contribute to the overall efficiency of our operations.

Location: Onsite in our Athol, MA facility (Monday-Friday)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Create and submit purchase orders: Generate purchase orders using Bean works or other procurement software. Submit purchase orders to the accounting department for processing and send them to suppliers. Enter purchase order information into the ERP system to update inventory records.
• Generate replenishment reports: Utilize the ERP system to generate reports on inventory levels, sales data, and other relevant metrics. Analyze the reports to establish replenishment needs for regional and director-level decision-making.
• Maintain ERP System: Enter new and updated part numbers, bills of materials (BOMs), purchase orders (POs), invoices, supplier information, and other relevant data into the ERP system. Regularly update and maintain the database to ensure its accuracy.
• Regularly review the ERP system's data to ensure completeness and consistency. Verify information such as pricing, bills of materials, and other relevant details to maintain data integrity and accuracy.
• Trace shipments and update ERP: Track shipments and notify manufacturing facilities of any change or delays. Update the ERP system and relevant sites with the latest information regarding shipment status and expediated delivery dates.
• Respond to information queries: Address queries and requests for information related to inventory management. Access relevant files, documents, or reports to provide accurate and timely responses to internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Compile and verify accuracy of information: Gather and organize data from various sources to prepare source data for computer entry. Ensure data accuracy by double-checking information and resolving any discrepancies or errors before entering it into the system.

Requirements:

• Proven data entry work experience
• Proficient in MS Office and data programs with advanced Excel capabilities
• Ability to set and meet deadlines
• Proactive in anticipating needs and effectively communicating potential risks in advance
• Proficient in using a variety of software applications, tools, and systems, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to ensure accuracy and precision in all tasks and responsibilities
